G&H & LEO Space Photonics ICSO paper on miniaturized laser-com modules

Liam Henwood-Moroney from G&H presented work on "Miniaturized optical communications modules for space applications". The presentation included the joint work with LEO Space Photonics on the development of ORIONAS radiation resistant, compact optical pre-amplifier. ORIONAS ICSO paper on SPIE digital library

ORIONAS progress was presented in the International Conference on Space Optics (ICSO 2020) organized by ESA and CNES. ORIONAS goes to ICSO

Our paper "The H2020-SPACE-ORIONAS Project “Lasercom-on-chip” for High-speed Satellite Constellation Interconnectivity" has been accepted as an oral presentation at the International Conference on Space Optics 2020. Project launched!

ORIONAS has officially kick started on 1st November 2018. The kick-off meeting was held in Thales Alenia Space premises in Toulouse on 19 and 20 November 2018.
